Pride Quantum Q6 edge Z power wheelchair has two main assemblies: the seat and the power base. Typically, the seat assembly includes the armrests, seatback, and seat base. The power base assembly includes two motor/brake assemblies, two drive wheels, four caster wheels, two batteries, and wiring harnesses.
Compatible seating systems
iLevel technology: iLevel’s advanced functionality and stability strengthens independence and quality of life. iLevel improves access to one’s environment and enhances social interaction by allowing operation of the power chair with the seat elevated up to 10”. Quantum iLevel elevating seat technology is unique, it’s user-inspired, where not only does it elevate, but it stabilizes the power chair for safe operation at walking speed. For users, this means being able to grocery shop while elevated; navigating crowds at eye level; accessing high-top tables in restaurants; and, strolling the walking path with your partner, arm-in-arm. Of course, simply being able to adjust the seat height, with added stability, makes transfers safer.
TRU-Balance 3 power positioning systems: It feature an innovative design that maximizes functional independence while providing an appealing look and feel. TRU-Balance 3 has the ability for quick and easy fine tuning adjustments to ensure maximum comfort and positioning. Available configurations include power tilt, power recline, 10” power adjustable seat lift, static seating, and manual recline.
Synergy seating system: It offers a clean, streamlined appearance and unparalleled ease of adjustment. The seating system’s unique user-friendly design allows for height, width, depth, and back angle adjustment to be made quickly and easily in the field. The synergy seat interfaces with most types of seat and back cushions. Manual tilt and manual recline are available on the synergy seating system.
Contoured seating: Contoured seating is the standard seating option on Quantum power chairs. Contoured seating features a black vinyl captain’s seat with options consisting of a high back or medium back, solid seat pan, limited recline, and depth adjustability. It is selected when special positioning is not required.
